I have just this afternoon been to the hospital to see my son who is having his chemo at the moment. They said no visitors were allowed. Is this commonplace?
Hi Tannith B sorry to hear this……
Each Health Board, indeed Hospital will have their own rules but I am surprised to hear this as the people I have been talking with are all able to have visitors…… You may want to double check with the hospital as there may be temporary restrictions in place due to some type of infection or virus in the ward.
