I found this site from a booklet given to me by our local Maggies Centre. It was my Dad's first anniversary last week and I'm struggling more now than I was then. I've lapsed with alcohol and feel so low.
My father in law is currently in the same hospital for a different reason and I've been blindsided by just how overwhelming and emotional it's been to do that journey again.
Maggies are wonderful and so supportive and helpful and helped me alot today.

Hi V33G33 and a very warm welcome to the online community which I hope you'll find is both an informative and supportive place to be.
I'm so sorry to read that you lost your dad to cancer. It's not surprising that the anniversary of your dad's death coupled with your father-in-law being in hospital is making you struggle right now.
I can see that you've already joined the bereaved family and friends forum which I'm sure you'll find is a very supportive place.
Sending virtual (((hugs)))
