Hi all
New to all of this, I was diagnosed with cancer in January and was operated on with the hospital thinking it was sarcoma, as it turns out it's terminal kidney cancer that has spread widely throughout the body (the doctors' words not mine). I had my first lot of chemotherapy two weeks ago and I feel awful, my heads on fire and my hands and feet are frozen, not to mention the constant itching and the isolation and boredom.
Well, that's my brief introduction, hope you are all getting through this as best as you can.
Hello Grimlock A warm welcome to the online Community - although in the circumstances I am so sorry to find you here.
The online Community is divided into forums or chat rooms which are cancer specific and you can "meet up" with people on the same or similar journey to yours. In your case I would advise you to join these 3 forums:
Living with incurable cancer forum - patients only
To join each forum, just click on the links I have provided and once the page opens up - click on "join" on the black banner at the bottom of the page. You can then either post or copy and paste your post in the "new here" section of the forum/
I do hope this helps - if I can do anything else for you please don't hesitate to contact me.
Best wishes - Brian.
