Good morning, I'm new to this forum. I had a radical Cystectomy in September last year and have recovered well and am back to a normal life. Now I have a couple of questions. I have a 7mm wide strip of red skin with the top layer of the skin missing. At the moment I use a protective barrier wipe before putting on a new pouch. Is the anything else I can do?
My stoma is fairly high up on my belly and the belt line of ordinary trousers runs right across it. I know that high waisted trousers are available, but just can't find any that look good or right. Has anyone any tips of where best to source high waisted trousers and jeans?
Thank you very much in advance for any help. I hope that I can make a positive contribution to this forum in the future.
