I have been bleeding when I poo for about 2 years I think. I thought it was just piles from pregnancy and it would go away but it’s not,
It’s not been sore or itchy and I’ve been to the doctor and I’ve tried cream and suppositories but still bleeding. I have been referred to a surgeon at the hospital and my appointment is tomorrow.
i’ve been googling (which I know I shouldn’t) and discovered that HPV causes anal cancer and I have been HPV positive in my last 2 smears (but no cell changes). Obviously this test was vaginal so now I’m worried that the HPV may have caused anal cancer and that’s why I am bleeding.
Does anyone have any similar experiences?
