I've just been diagnosed with cancer of the uterus and will probably need to have a hysterectomy. I'm 68 and
the prognosis doesn't look very good despite having this.
Hello enuff_sed A warm welcome to the MacMillan online Community.
I am so sorry to read of your diagnosis and understand what a stressful time this can be. The online Community is divided up into forums or chatrooms where you will find people on a similar or the same cancer journey, In view of this I would advise you to join our Womb (uterus) cancer forum . You can do this by clicking on the link I have provided. Once the page opens up just click on "join" on the black banner at the bottom of the page.
Once you have joined this Community you will be able to add a new post by clicking on the black box marked +new. You can then introduce yourself, let the Community know where you are on your cancer journey and ask any questions you wish - I am sure you will be among friends.
I wish you well with your cancer journey and if I can do anything else for you please get back to me.
Best wishes - Brian.
