Newbie - Breast Cancer diagnosis last week

Hi. Just popped in to say hi and introduce myself.

I thought I had another cyst (same location as last one) and Zi did have a cyst with a grade 3 tumour adjacent to it. Waiting for rest of biopsy resuls and MRI results next week.

Was feeling powerless, ambushed. Went to a rage room last night with my bestie and smashed a lot of stuff up until I couldn't smash any more. Feeling calmer today and ready to beat this.

I'm an engineer and I like a project plan! It's doing my nut in waiting although I'm extemely impressed how quick everything has been.

I want to be as strong as possible for chemo and surgery. I already do yoga and Pilates and have a GF diet with little sugar. Does anyone has any knowledge of vitamins that I could consider please?

Lovely to connect in here. X

  • Hi  and a very warm welcome to the online community which I hope you'll both find is both an informative and supportive place to be.

I'm sorry to read that you have recently been diagnosed with breast cancer and it's natural to have lots of questions.

The online community is divided into different support forums so I'm going to recommend that you join the breast cancer forum where you can ask questions, share experiences and get support.

To join, just click on the link I've created and, once you've joined, you can start a new post in the same way as you did here and join in with existing conversations by clicking on 'reply'.

It would be great if you could put something about your diagnosis and tests so far into your profile as it really helps others when replying to you and also when looking for someone on a similar pathway. It also means that you don't have to keep repeating yourself. To do this click on your username and then select 'Profile'. You can amend it at any time and if you're not sure what to write you can take a look at mine by clicking on my username.

If you have any problems negotiating the community just reply to me and I'll be pleased to help if I can.
