Hello. Can anyone help us please with advice around travelling, in particular cruising, with a port and stoma. Is there something we need to register for to show security? It’s a bucket list trip and maybe our last and want it to go smoothly without embarrassment at security. Thank you
Hi JoeyB I have no experience to bring to the table but let's look for others to pick up on your post.
You may also want to post this in our dedicated Ileostomy, colostomy and stoma support group as well as in the Bowel (colon and rectum) cancer support group that I see you have already joined.
Hi JoeyB
The stoma group recommended by my friend Thehighlander is a great place for advice on travelling with a stoma-we’ve had lots of discussions around this, and are all happy to share the hints and tips which we’ve found helpful. I have 2 stomas and travel abroad pretty frequently, so have learned a lot along the way!
I hope to see you post in the group where we’ll do our best to help you.
Sarah xx
