Am just about to go for my blood test. I don’t like having it done. I wind myself up to the point of feeling sick. Anyone go any tips or happens to do the same
Hi again Merryweather_1979 blood tests unfortunately are part of the journey. I have a blood cancer so I think I could actually do them myself as I have had them done regularly for over 24 years.
First tell the nurse about this then not to look at the needle going in but focus on something like a picture on the wall and keep talking to the nurse.
I did put up a reply to your first post on the New to Community. Do join the Lung Cancer group and keep posting in the group as this will keep you connected with others who are walking the same journey - the New to Community is like our reception desk so people tend to move in from here to the dedicated groups.
