Yesterday I had mammogram, ultrasound scan of my left breast and 2 biopsies taken after I found a lump in it. I have been told it is almost certainly cancer but I won't get my diagnosis until the results of the biopsies are back. I have been told I am high risk when it comes to general anisthetics. I have also been told when diagnosed I'll have to stop my low dose norethisterone tablet. That will launch me immediately in to a world of hell with my IBS (which is highly triggered by& when it does has severe symptoms) and I risk anemia with my ultra heavy, irregular periods. I told them I need a hysterectomy but with the risk with general anesthesics I doubt I'll be allowed one. That in itself terrifies me.
