Sorry to hear this Rocky rox because you have had a biopsy what is suspected?
I have lived with and been treated for an incurable but treatable blood cancer for over 24 years now…… but I have also had a number of biopsies over the years as ‘something’ new was suspected and all came back negative.
The Macmillan Support Line is open 8am-8pm (timings may differ across services) 7 days a week on 0808 808 00 00. This service provides practical information, emotional support or just a listening ear.
Sorry about that highlander ️ and skin cancer x
Hi again Thehighlander I am doing great and living a great life….. although getting a cancer diagnosis is not what you want it’s not always as bad as you would think.
We have a dedicated Skin cancer support group so do consider connecting in with there is it turned out to be skin cancer ((hugs))
Thank you, from your experience is an urgent appointment usually bad news even if it is a couple of weeks away?
An urgent appointment should first be seen as encouraging as you are being seen and the NHS system is doing it job.
Second, there is no definitive answer as to what these appointments may bring….. I will say I have had 5 urgent referrals for 5 different types of cancer and only one was found…. 24 years ago ((hugs))
Whatever cancer throws your way, we’re right there with you.
We’re here to provide physical, financial and emotional support.
