Husband diagnosed with throat and neck cancer. Wishing it was me instead of him.

  • Hello Melc - And a warm welcome to the online Community.

I am so sorry to read of your husband's diagnosis - it must be a great shock to you both and I can understand your thoughts on how you wish you could deal with it for him - that's so brave.

We have a dedicated forum Head and neck cancer forum . If you click on the link in green it should take you to this group. There you will find Community members with a similar diagnosis who will be able to offer help and advice. Just click to join the Community and you will be able to post any questions.

Please come back to me if you require any further help or information and I wish you both well on your cancer journey.

    Best wishes

    Brian.

  • Hi Melc.

It's awful to see a loved one suffer and it's easier on the soul to think they can't cope and it should be you but they can. I'm Dani and I hang out in the Head and Neck Cancer Group  that Brian has pointed out. I'm over four years clear of treatment and fit and well. Come along to say hello. We are a friendly bunch and we can help you both along what is a difficult but temporary road.
