Diagnosed with Lung & Bone cancer 5 weeks ago been told its incurable but may be treatable I had fluid on the lung which was how the cancer was first found and was drained but inconclusive results a bone biopsy was done last week to determine what type of cancer it is for any treatment plan, I had breast cancer twice 33yrs ago then again 23yrs ago so it's suspected another reacurance, results back today but unclear so need to have another bone biopsy done then possibly a lung biopsy if still unclear. Just feeling so down & finding it so hard to come to terms with after being cancer free for such a long time

  • Hi Martello

Welcome to the community, I'm so sorry to hear that you have been diagnosed with lung and bone cancer and that it's incurable.  Whatt you are feeling is perfectly understandable particularly after being cancer free for so long.  There are a few cancer forums that you can also join to get support from patients in your situation.  They are the Living with incurable cancer forum - patients only, the bone cancer forum and the lung cancer forum.  Here's the links to those forums in case you want to join them: Living with incurable cancer forum - patients only , Bone cancer forum , Lung cancer forum .

Wishing you the best of luck with your biopsies and with whatever treatment your medical team puts you on.

    Best wishes
