Hello to everyone,
I've just come on this website and joined the forum because basically I'm really scared about something that I found yesterday.
I'm not sure if I should describe it here or wait until I've seen a doctor? Also, should I be writing in a group for a specific type of cancer?
Thank you
Hi vicky88 and a very warm welcome to the online community which I hope you'll find is both an informative and supportive place to be.
I'm sorry to read that you've found something that you're worried about but try to remember that most 'things' don't turn out to be cancerous.
You're welcome to post in the group which you feel best reflects the type of cancer you're worried about but definitely make an appointment to see your GP as obviously we can share our experiences with you but can't make a diagnosis.
The easiest way to find a group is to tell me what type of cancer you're worried that you might have as I can then give you a direct link to the group. Alternatively you can look through this list and choose the appropriate one.
Once you've joined a group, you can start new posts like you did here and join in with existing conversations by clicking on 'reply'.
Thank you so much for replying so quicky.
I'm worried about vulva cancer. I've searched it in the forum for existing threads and there are numerous already set up.
Perhaps you could direct me to the one that would be best for someone who is worried, but doesn't actually have a diagnosis.
I don't want to waste anyone's time
Hi vicky88
If you click here, the link will take you to the vulva cancer group where you can start a new post once you've joined.
Don't worry about wasting people's time as everyone was a new person once and we all need support.
((hugs))
Thank you
Your support means a lot and I feel less anxious after writing here.
Thank you :-)
