Hello all, I have recently been diagnosed with invasive ductal carcinoma and after 5 biopsies, numerous mammograms, ultrasounds and an MRI I am still waiting for my plan. I know I have to have surgery but unsure my treatment and when it will start.
I work in palliative care but being on this side and playing the waiting game is killing me. This is my second time having cancer as 4 years ago I had skin cancer too.
just wanted to say hello and thank you for your stories, I know I’m not alone xx
Hi keze72
Welcome to the community and sorry to hear that you have been diagnosed with breast cancer. If you feel up to it there is a forum for people with breast cancer that you can also join to get support from people who have or have had breast cancer. Here's the link to that forum: Breast cancer forum .
Wishing you the best of luck with your operation and with whatever treatment your medical team decides to put you on.
Best wishes
