Hello,
I was diagnosed with Sarcoma in 2020 and that was removed surgically. Have been having annual CT scans for monitoring, this year’s has shown regrowth at the site of the original occurrence and also 5 lesions in my liver, have been for a liver biopsy on Monday to see what is going on and now it is just the waiting game. Can anyone point me in the right direction as to which groups might be supportive at this point in my journey?
Hi HellsBellsCockleShells and a very warm welcome to the online community which I hope you'll find is both an informative and supportive place to be.
I'm sorry to read that your sarcoma has recurred and that you also have new lesions on your liver.
As you haven't said whether your sarcoma is a bone or soft tissue one, I'll give you links to both groups below:
To join, just click on the appropriate link and, once you've joined, you can start a new post in the same way as you did here, and join in with existing conversations by clicking on reply.
It would be great if you could pop something about your diagnosis and treatment to into your profile as it really helps others when replying to you and also when looking for someone on a similar pathway. It also means that you don't have to keep repeating yourself. To do this click on your username and then select 'Profile'. You can amend it at any time and if you're not sure what to write you can take a look at mine by clicking on my username.
Thank you for your advice, it is hard to know where to start! Will update profile now and then head towards the soft tissue sarcoma area. Thanks again, very much appreciated
