Hi all

I am 28 years old and I was diagnosed with breast cancer last week. I am new to this support group, would be lovely to chat to some people of similar age going through the same thing or if you’ve been through it previously. I have good support around me but would be nice to hear other peoples stories and connect with those in similar positions to me

take care everyone x

  • Hi  and a very warm welcome to the online community which I hope you'll find is both an informative and supportive place to be.

I'm sorry to read that you have recently been diagnosed with breast cancer and it's natural to want to speak to others of a similar age.

I can see that you've already found and joined the breast cancer for the under-50s group and you might also benefit from joining the main breast cancer group, as it doesn't matter what age everyone is we'll all try to answer any questions you might have a well as share our experiences and give support.

If you'd like to join this group, just click on the link I've created and, once you've joined, you can start a new post in the same way as you did here, and join in with existing conversations by clicking on reply.

It would be great if you could pop something about your diagnosis and tests to date into your profile as it really helps others when replying to you and also when looking for someone on a similar pathway. It also means that you don't have to keep repeating yourself. To do this click on your username and then select 'Profile'. You can amend it at any time and if you're not sure what to write you can take a look at mine by clicking on my username.
