Evening all,
My hubby visited the doctors 16 days ago after finding a small hard lump on one of his testicles. He was told he would been seen by someone within two weeks. Today, after not hearing anything we contacted the doctors and were told that an ultrasound scan had been booked for September. September. That's too long. Surely.
Hello we were in same situation and my husband found out 9 week ago he as bowel cancer we waited two week contacted doctor after being told we were on two week pathway someone changed us to urgent. So meant a nine week wait just to be seen. So we went private 3 week consultation colonoscopy. Referred met surgeon and three week from initial diagnosis surgery where nine week on he started chemotherapy this week. All being very fast. If it’s something you can do for consultation then do it
Hi Myboi and a very warm welcome to the online community which I hope you'll find is both an informative and supportive place to be.
I'm sorry to read that your husband has found a hard lump on one of his testicles and that his ultrasound scan isn't until September.
I can't help with your question about the timescales involved when checking lumps on testicles, but I can see that you've found and joined the testicular cancer group and I'm sure the other members will be happy to share their experiences with you when you post there.
If you have any difficulty navigating the community just drop me a reply and I'll be pleased to help
x
