I have recently received via a blood test and personal concern, the results being a PSA level of 4.8 I’m 57 and to be honest a little freightened I have a appointment with eurologis within the next two weeks any advice please.t
Hi and welcome to the community, I am 67 so in the ‘age range’ but honestly until you are told there actually is a problem on the back of a complete range of tests, then there is not…….. and I don’t say this flippantly.
I have a rare blood cancer that has been treated for the last 24 years but one of my regular blood tests including a PSA test back in Nov last year had a PSA of 8.6…… I went through all the tests including an MRI and a Prostate biopsy and I do not have Prostate Cancer……. The consultant actually said that my PSA was most likely up as I use an exercise bike regularly - hope you get a clear answer soon..
Whatever cancer throws your way, we’re right there with you.
