Hi all,
I recently went to my gp re mid cycle and after sex bleeding like a full on period for 5days everytime an stomach bloated.
My gp did cervical screening and said my cervix was inflamed. She requested thyroid and infection bloods/swab which cone back ok. Today I had an ultrasound and transvaginal one also. The girl told me there are changes in my womb that she will send onto my Dr. No fibroids or polyps.
Has anyone experienced this before on their trio to finding out what is up? Can a transvaginal tell by noting changes to the womb. Or is it biopsy only.
Many thanks
Hi Womb worrier and a very warm welcome to the online community which I hope you'll find is both an informative and supportive place to be.
I'm sorry to read that you've recently been having tests to find out what is causing your symptoms and it's natural to assume the worst.
I can see that you've already found and joined the womb cancer group which would be a great place to ask your questions and get support.
When you feel ready to post there, just click on the link I've created which will take you directly there. You can then start a new post in the same way as you did here and join in with existing conversations by clicking on 'reply'.
It would be great if you could pop something about your tests so far into your profile as it really helps others when replying to you and also when looking for someone on a similar pathway. It also means that you don't have to keep repeating yourself. To do this click on your username and then select 'Profile'. You can amend it at any time and if you're not sure what to write you can take a look at mine by clicking on my username.
