I have never joined an online community before, but I have also joined the lung cancer group, my husband has now been diagnosed with lung cancer which spread to his brain, he's had the brain tumour diagnosed and removed in March, but it took a while for them to trace the primary cancer which they are sure is the lung, there is a speculated lesion.  He's just finished radiotherapy for the brain - but no treatment for the lung cancer yet.  We see the consultant next week about his lung cancer - is there anything we need to ask?  He is so tired from the radiotherapy which I don't even think has reached its peak yet - from what I have read.

  • Hi  and a very warm welcome to the online community which I hope you'll find is both an informative and supportive place to be.

I'm sorry to read that your husband has been diagnosed with lung cancer which has spread to his brain and I can understand what a difficult time this will be for you both.

I can see that you've joined and posted in the lung cancer group, which is a great place to ask questions, share experiences and get support.

While you're waiting for replies from the other members of the lung cancer group, it would be great if you could pop something about your husband's diagnosis and treatment so far into your profile as it really helps others when replying to you and also when looking for someone on a similar pathway. It also means that you don't have to keep repeating yourself. To do this click on your username and then select 'Profile'. You can amend it at any time and if you're not sure what to write you can take a look at mine by clicking on my username.
