I am starting chemo next week and my emotions are all over the place. It will be 4 weeks from diagnosis to treatment. So much to take in.
Good Morning Chicken soup queen,
Welcome to the Online community. I hope you will find it as supportive and informative as I have done.
I am sorry that you have had a diagnosis of cancer and are due to start chemo next week. Last year I had 4 weeks from first symptom to surgery and that was followed by chemo and the radiotherapy so I can understand that it all happens so quickly and is a lot to take in.
The online community is divided up into forums according to cancer types and experiences. You don't mention where the cancer is but if you are happy to share that I will be able to give you a link to a forum where people are in similar circumstances.
We do have a chemotherapy forum that I used during my chemo and I will pop a link below for it, if you want to take a look.

I did find chemo quite hard at times but it was doable with the support of family, friends and the people on here. If you have any questions please do ask. I remember how I felt the week before mine started.
I hope this helps a bit, if at anytime it would help to chat to someone, there is a support line number at the bottom of this and you are welcome to give it a call. They are lovely on there.
Jane
