I am here as I have just been diagnosed with Epithelial-myoepithelial carcinoma, right now I am trying to process everything. Has anyone else heard of this cancer? - it did take nearly 9 weeks to get the result of the biopsy. So, here I am, and I’m sad to say “I’m fighting cancer”.
Hi DarkNessHayz and a very warm welcome to the online community which I hope you'll find is both an informative and supportive place to be.
I have to admit to not having heard of epithelial-myoepithelial carcinoma, but I can see that you've joined the head and neck cancer group so presume it's in that area of your body.
When you feel ready to start a new post in that group, I'm sure you'll find that the other members will be only too happy to try and answer any questions you might have, share their experiences and give support.
It would be great if you could update your profile with details of your diagnosis, plus any tests you have had so far, as it really helps others when replying to you and also when looking for someone on a similar pathway. It also means that you don't have to keep repeating yourself. If you're not sure what to write you can take a look at mine by clicking on my username.
If you have any difficulty navigating the community just drop me a reply and I'll be pleased to help.
x
