Does it get any easier,
my dad passed away on the 7th of September in 2021 from pancreatic cancer and things still don’t feel the same even more so now I feel so alone not having my best friend to speak to everyday miss hearing his voice all the time even checking in on me
Hi Con97 ….. I lost my mum rather suddenly back on the 12 Nov 2020 (not to cancer) so my simple answer is yes it does get easier…… but talking this through with others who understand can help.
I see you have posted in our dedicated Bereaved family and friends support group before……. why not follow the link to the group and have a chat with the folks in the group.
Our Support Line teams are available 7 days a week, 8am-8pm on freephone 0808 808 00 00, email or live webchat where you will find one of team there to help you out.
Talking to people face to face can be very helpful so do check to see if you have any Local Macmillan Support in your area, do also check for a local Maggie's Centre as these folks are amazing.
((hugs))
