Our 83 year old mum was diagnosed with bladder cancer on 22nd March. It’s terminal and she was given months. We are all devastated. She’s been in and of hospital 50 miles away in England but is from Wales and just wants to be at home for her final days. Mum is now in a community hospital near home thankfully. My brother and myself are caring for her. We have no experience of cancer in our family ever before. Any advice or support gratefully received.
Hello Daffodil7
Welcome to the Online Community.
I am so sorry to see that your Mum has been diagnosed with bladder cancer. I am glad that she is now in a community hospital that is nearer home. I hope that you are getting plenty of support from her nurses and the hospital.
The online community is divided up into different forums and although you are very welcome to post here I wonder whether you may find these forums helpful. I will pop a couple of links here for you to consider. Sometimes I think it is helpful to share with people going through the same journey.

I hope this may help a little. If you feel speaking to someone may help then there is a support line number at the bottom of this. They are lovely on there.
In the mean time if there is anything else you need please just ask.
Jane
