Hi my name is Lorraine
I have just been diagnosed with BCC.
I am having a op tomorrow.
I am a little bit scared.
I have had the spot? For well over 20 years but was told it was OK.
Recently I have become extremely tired, could this be due to the carcinoma?
Hi Loz62 and a very warm welcome to the online community which I hope you'll find is an informative and supportive place to be.
I'm sorry to read that you have recently been diagnosed with BCC but hopefully the surgery you're having tomorrow will be all that is needed to get rid of it.
I can see that you've already found and joined the skin cancer group and, when you're ready to post there, I'm sure you'll find it's a great place to ask questions, share experiences and get support.
When I had a BCC it didn't make me feel tired but I'm wondering if you're feeling tired because you're worried about the upcoming surgery?
It would be great if you could pop something about your diagnosis and treatment so far into your profile as it really helps others when replying to you and also when looking for someone on a similar pathway. It also means that you don't have to keep repeating yourself. To do this click on your username and then select 'Profile'. You can amend it at any time and if you're not sure what to write you can take a look at mine by clicking on my username.
