Have you asked at the hospital treating you? Mine has a wig lady who works with a hairdresser and they came to the hospital once a week. My oncologist was actually able to refer me to them and the lady called me the next day and arranged for me to come and see her at the cancer centre a couple of weeks later. She was able to accept the NHS wig voucher. Made a big difference.

They were Bristol based - but I wonder if there may be similar local to you that the hospital can put you in touch with. It must be a common thing to ask about

• Thank you for this. I am a private patient. Long story short, I had a heart attack at 37 and have kept my insurance since then. It seems being private keeps my options very limited.
