Hi all,
I’ve had all types of scans in last few weeks and was told by doctors they aren’t overly worried. Had a pet scan and suddenly everything is an emergency. Found out yesterday I have a mass and cancer spots in 4 places. Tomorrow I’m having a full hysterectomy and possibly bowel reconstruction. It’s floored me. I can’t explain the emotions and fear I’m feeling xx

I'm very sorry to read that you have recently been diagnosed with cancer and I know what a worrying time this will be for you.
The online community is divided up into different support groups but you haven't mentioned what type of cancer you have. You could either let me know so that I can give you a direct link to the relevant group, or look through this list and choose the appropriate one.
It would be great if you could pop something about your diagnosis and treatment so far into your profile as it really helps others when replying to you and also when looking for someone on a similar pathway.
