Hi everyone, hope your all trying to stay positive, I had a grade 4 glastoma removed 7 months ago which went well, then followed by chemo and radiotherapy for 6 weeks. I’m 7 months on and just cominHeart to the end of my second lot of chemo thank god with no signs of anything returning , but now I’m suffering with my head it’s all over the place. It’s hard to explain as I’m sure you all understand Heartut it’s like tightness of the head sometimes with a dull head pressure inside but it just makes me feel terrible, they say from my last scan that there’s nothing wrong in my head from the scan, no sHeartelling nothing so no one seems to know.has anyone had the same thing . Take care all Heart️

  • Hi  and a very warm welcome to the online community which I hope you'll find is both an informative and supportive place to be.

I know how horrible it is when you're worried about how you feel.

As the online community is divided up into different support groups, I'm going to recommend that you join the glioblastoma multiforme brain tumour group so you can connect directly with others who have had the same type of cancer as you.

To join, just click on the link I've created and, once you've joined, you can start a new post in the same way as you did here, and join in with existing conversations by clicking on reply.

It would be great if you could pop something about your diagnosis and treatment so far into your profile as it really helps others when replying to you and also when looking for someone on a similar pathway. It also means that you don't have to keep repeating yourself. To do this click on your username and then select 'Profile'. You can amend it at any time and if you're not sure what to write you can take a look at mine by clicking on my username.

  • My son had very similar problems he was diagnosed with smart syndrome after his radiotherapy to the brain. It's so rare but mri with contrast shows up the problem areas. It's pretty much undiagnosed as it's so rare but believe you me it's crippling my son.
