Hi all. My husband has HCC I am his carer. He was diagnosed about a year ago and only now have I been given the tools and support and how to get it.
I’ve been feeling very isolated however I’m hoping to communicate with like minded people via this community
Hi Sanj and a very warm welcome to the online community which I hope you'll find is both an informative and supportive place to be.
I'm sorry to read that your husband has been diagnosed with HCC and it's natural to feel isolated.
As the online community is divided up into different support groups, I'm going to recommend that you join the liver cancer group, which is a great place to connect with others who have HCC to ask questions and share experiences.
Another group which you should think about joining is the carers only group which is a safe and supportive place to share your worries and get support from others who are caring for someone living with cancer.
To join these groups, just click on the links I've created and, once you've joined, you can start a new post in the same way as you did here, and join in with existing conversations by clicking on reply.
It would be great if you could pop something about your husband's diagnosis and treatment so far into your profile as it really helps others when replying to you and also when looking for someone on a similar pathway.
