  1. Hi all, I have recently been diagnosed as having some form of blood cancer. Had bone marrow biopsy yesterday to try and confirm what cancer it is.
  2. I feel very low. Live alone in a very remote location,  and have noone really to talk to.  My children are married with young children and live over 250 miles away, so can't just pop round.
  3. How do other single people cope? Even driving to hospital will no doubt be a challenge. (It's over an hours drive away)
  • Hi  and welcome to the community.

I have lived and been treated for a rare incurable type of Non Hodgkin’s Lymphoma (blood cancer) for over 23 years.

Treatment will depend on the type of blood cancer you have and for me I did not require any demanding treatment for the first 14 years following my initial diagnosis.

Lets see what you are told and I will then be able to direct you to the best group for your specific blood cancer.
