I’m new here, stage three breast cancer and lymph node also. Half way through the chemo now so no hair and I thought that was the worst thing that could happen. Actually I think I needed it to shut down the ego. Stopped the shallow minded, looks used to be everything state of mind. Still it’s hard when someone knocks on the door and I can’t find my hat hahahhaha
Hi DeeJayce and welcome to the Online Community but I am sorry to hear about your diagnoses.
The cancer journey can be such a stressful and challenging time but reaching out to the community will give you the opportunity to ask questions and getting support from others who are navigating the ‘exact’ same journey but I do see that you have found and posted in our Breast cancer support group. This is a safe place to talk to others with a similar diagnosis, treatment experience, to ask questions and get support.
Our Support Line teams are available 7 days a week, 8am-8pm on freephone 0808 808 00 00, email or live webchat where you will find one of team there to help you out.
We also have our Ask an Expert section but do allow a few working days for a reply.
Talking to people face to face can be very helpful so do check to see if you have any Local Macmillan Support in your area, do also check for a local Maggie's Centre as these folks are amazing.
Do get back to me if you need further help.
Whatever cancer throws your way, we’re right there with you.
We’re here to provide physical, financial and emotional support.
