Morning all.

So do you like the snow, well sorry I do not like the snow my hands still get pins and needles more the left one than right.

I have wear big coats to keep snug and warm and it reminds me of when I when I little mom would wrap me up so I coundnt move, not that im complaining.

I wanted to post something different to say instead of my ailments and dark days then happy days so I thought mmmmm snow days although snow days is better than no days.

why or why do they have to put the bills up for heating etc.

I think of all the people on there owns I  bet the government and Mps are ok with there bills.

Anyhoo just something different for a post

Big beautiful Hugs people keep warm

  • Good morning  and although you are posting in the New to Community your are not totally new as I do see that you have found your way around the site including into our supportive Bowel (colon and rectum) cancer support group.

Living in the Highlands of Scotland takes snow days and short daylight days to a different level and yes this brings the challenges of keeping warm and the cost of heating…. but we all have to adapt and do what we can to navigate these challenges.

Because of my treatment journey I actually prefer the winter as my skin is not friends with hot sunny weather….. there is nothing better than getting wrapped up and walking the snow covered forests where ai live…… and as you say ‘snow days are better then no days’

You will see that the community is made up of cancer specific groups but we also have a good number of General Cancer experience groups that cover all the various aspects of living the cancer life.

Take care and keep on keeping on loving life ((hugs))
