I'm sorry to read that your mom has recently been diagnosed with cancer and I know what a difficult time this will be for the whole family.
The online community is divided up into different support groups where you can ask questions, share experiences and get support from others.
You haven't said what type of cancer your mom has, so if you let me know I could give you a direct link to the best group for you to join. Alternatively, you can look through this list of cancer types and choose the right one for your mom.
Besides the cancer specific groups, I think you would benefit from joining either the carers only group, if you're your mom's carer, or the family and friends group if you're not her carer. Both groups are safe and supportive place to discuss your worries and emotions.
To join just click on the appropriate link and, once you've joined, you can start a new post in the same way as you did here, and join in with existing conversations by clicking on reply.
It would be great if you could pop something about your mom's diagnosis and treatment so far into your profile as it really helps others when replying to you and also when looking for someone on a similar pathway. It also means that you don't have to keep repeating yourself. To do this click on your username and then select 'Profile'. You can amend it at any time and if you're not sure what to write you can take a look at mine by clicking on my username.

The best group for you to join to talk to others with this type of cancer would be the cervical cancer group. You'll also connect with others there whose cancer has spread elsewhere too.
