Any information greatly appreciated for a family member in South Wales please.
caner has advanced dramatically & now need support & advice as there doesn’t seem a plan in place as no treatment has started due to Iill health.
Palliative care at home (home owner).
Is this funded through NHS Wales?
Does a doctor refer them for care & to be assessed?
Hi Dolly Doodles. Sorry to see you here.
Your family member’s consultant should be in touch with their GP. Wales has a poor coverage of hospice care but some hospice at home is available. Get in touch with the surgery in the first instance.
Marie Curie do work in Wales and their end of life care is free. They can be found here
