Hi. I'm one month post liver transplant due Liver Cancer, 2 tumors removed but End stage liver disease lead to a transplant and boy do I feel better, I didn't realise that I was feeling so rough. I wish everyone so much love. One day at a time.
I do have a question though. I have been asked to upload a letter to the welfare rights team but I don't know which email address to use and if I can upload it in private. Any advice? I will be very grateful.
Many thanks
Hi Chebob3 and a very warm welcome to the online community which I hope you'll find is both an informative and supportive place to be.
That's great news that you're now feeling well after having a liver transplant following liver cancer.
As the online community is divided up into different support groups, I'm going to suggest that you join the liver cancer group, which is a place to ask questions, share experiences and give and receive support.
To join, just click on the link I've created which will take you to the group. You can then join and introduce yourself by starting a new post in the same way as you did here and join in with existing conversations by clicking on 'reply'.
It would be great if you could pop something about your diagnosis and treatment so far into your profile as it really helps others when replying to you and also when looking for someone on a similar pathway. It also means that you don't have to keep repeating yourself. To do this click on your username and then select 'Profile'. You can amend it at any time and if you're not sure what to write you can take a look at mine by clicking on my username.
I don't know what the email address that the welfare rights department want you to upload information to would be so the best thing to do would be to give them a call on 0808 808 0000 and they'll be able to tell you.
x
