My father recently passed away of pancreatic cancer, so my family is still grieving. I want to carry on as normal but I’m getting really tired and the pain flushes are getting out of control. I just want to get away and go on holiday with friends but the insurance is near £2000 . If anyone has found a decent insurance company that they would be willing to share I would be very grateful
Hi Rache and a very warm welcome to the online community which I hope you'll find is both an informative and supportive place to be.
I'm sorry to read that you've recently had a cancer diagnosis and I can understand why you'd like to have a holiday before your treatment starts.
Unfortunately, as you've found, it can be more difficult to find reasonably priced travel insurance when there is a cancer diagnosis involved.
As you know, the online community is divided up into different support groups, so I'm going to recommend that you join us over in the travel insurance group which is a great place to look for recommendations. Once you've joined look for the thread called 'recommended travel insurance' as that's where you'll find the majority of recommendations all in one place.
To join the group just click on the link I've created and if you have any difficulty navigating the community just drop me a reply and I'll be pleased to help.
