Hello
Hope its OK to post on here and hope everyone OK
Just wondering if being tested for bcr abl and pcr testing it would mean I could have luekemia also doing a molecular analysis bit confused with all the tests they doing and not given me much info if anyone has been in situation would love to hear from you
Thank you
Hi Sherry187
Yes of course it is ok to post here.
I found the following - https://medlineplus.gov/lab-tests/bcr-abl-genetic-test/ - I guess you have some of the symptoms listed here and that is why they are doing the test. Tests for cancer are often done first to either show someone does or does not have cancer.
One reason for not giving too much information is because the doctors do not know unless they run the tests. Hope you do not have to wait too long for an answer.
<<hugs>>
Steve
