Hi, I'm not sure if this is OK as I don't have a formal diagnosis yet. I've had some scans and the doc has told me I have a 8cm mass in my womb. The blood test results have come back showing a slightly raised cancer markers. When I've spoke to the doc he seams to be really trying to push the word cancer without telling me I actually have cancer. Everything is moving very fast as i only phoned my gp about a bleed the week before xmas. I don't see them again untill the 20th Jan now so I'm sort of left in limbo.
I have other health issues as well (lupus,) so when I saw the doc I wasn't feeling very so the doc told me to take my time and get myself to full fitness so I can get through what will most likely be a full hysterectomy.
I feel as if I am being a hypochondriac at the moment not being at work and mostly resting.
I'm sorry if I'm wrong to come on here when I don't have a definite diagnosis yet, I don't mean to offend anyone.
Hi TIBBS and a very warm welcome to the online community which I hope you'll find is both an informative and supportive place to be.
This limbo period between tests and waiting for a formal diagnosis can be hard so I'm going to recommend that you join the womb cancer group, not because I think this is what you're going to be diagnosed with, but because it will give you the opportunity to connect with others who can share their experiences with you.
To join just click on the link I've created which will take you directly there. You can then join and start a new post in the same way as you did here and join in with existing conversations by clicking on 'reply'.
It would be great if you could pop something about your tests so far into your profile as it really helps others when replying to you and also when looking for someone on a similar pathway. It also means that you don't have to keep repeating yourself. To do this click on your username and then select 'Profile'. You can amend it at any time and if you're not sure what to write you can take a look at mine by clicking on my username.
