Hello everyone,

I'm trying out this way of reaching out to find others who are going through what I am. I'm so sorry to read about those suffering with cancer in all the forms. So heartbreaking. I have terrific guilt even coming to such forums because my tumour is benign. A brain tumour that isn't malignant. It's been the same since they found it in 2018. It is meningioma. We've taken a wait and see approach. But I've had stress related skin problems, more headaches and this thing is the size of a golf ball. My surgeon says I will likely have to have the surgery within the next 7 years or so. It will leave me without a sense of smell and there is a risk I'll go blind. So, I've said no to that. But now I'm looking at Radiotherapy and wondering if that might work better. My next scan is in March. I'm bouncing back and forth. Have it out if you can. Don't have a life with this kind of worry. But now is the worst possible time to be trying for surgery or Radiotherapy. And there are people who need it more than me.

It would help a lot if I knew more about people who have what I have, what they have done, what life is like after the surgery, what Radiotherapy is like. Or how people manage the worry just keeping the thing in my head?
