Hi everyone, my husband started getting a lump on the side of his face that has grown substantially over the past 3 months . He was diagnosed with marginalised zoned non Hodgkin’s Lymphoma last Wednesday. We’re waiting to be contacted for the next steps so scared any responses greatly appreciated thank you.

  • Hi  and warm welcome to the Macmillan Online Community although sorry that you had to find us and especially sorry to hear about your husbands Lymphoma diagnosis.

I am Mike and I was diagnosed way back in 1999 at 43 years old with a rare, incurable type of Non Hodgkin’s Lymphoma reaching Stage 4a in late 2013 so I do know this journey rather well.

So that you can get the best support and information can I suggest you join our very supportive General Non Hodgkin's Lymphoma support group. This is a safe place to talk to others with a similar diagnosis, treatment experience, to ask questions and get support from both those who have been through treatment and from family members.

If you'd like to connect in with the group click on the Green (Bold) Group Link I have created above. Once the group page opens click on the black banner that says [click to join] at the bottom, or the [Join] button under "Group tools."

You can then introduce yourself by putting up a ‘new post’ by clicking in the box near the top right with + New or + (Depending on the device you are using) and you are ready to go. You could copy and paste the text from this post into your new post.

I will keep an eye open for you but if you are not sure what type you have pleased do get back to me on this post and I will help you out further.
