I have stage 4 Gastro Intestinal Cancer after having my stomach removed 2 years ago. Luckily due to an obstruction, they found the cancer was back since it would not show on a CT scan. I will be on chemo for the foreseeable future. Statistics give me 1.5 to 2 years but my goal is 5 years (that would when I turn 80). I have accepted the situation and started to downsize and get my affairs in order, I am trying to think positive but the black cloud is there. I found by keeping busy, I feel better. Just wanted to introduce myself and see how others with positive attitudes are making the most out of life.
Hi
Sorry to hear your diagnosis but good that you have such a positive attitude! You might find the Living with incurable cancer forum - patients only will let you share with others in the same situation!
Good luck!
Jac
