We are new to this group. My husband has been diagnosed with liver cancer 2 weeks ago and we are still coming to terms with that. Has anyone got any advice for travel insurance companies that can quote for us as the original company has cancelled our insurance when we declared this new cancer diagnosis. It seems to be difficult to get insurance because it is a new diagnosis and he is still undergoing treatment. The consultant has said he is fit to go. Has anyone else had this problem and can you recommend an insurance company for us....many thanks in advance.
Hi and a very warm welcome to the online community which I hope you'll find is both an informative and supportive place to be.
Unfortunately, as you've found, it can be more difficult to get travel insurance when there is a cancer diagnosis involved.
As the online community is divided up into different support groups, I'm going to recommend that you join us over in the travel insurance group which is a great place to look for recommendations. Once you've joined look for the thread called 'recommended travel insurance' as that's where you'll find the majority of recommendations all in one place.
To join the group just click on the link I've created and if you have any difficulty navigating the community just drop me a reply and I'll be pleased to help.
