My partner has been unwell for.a few months and recent CT scans have identified ‘something’ in his small bowel and lesions on his liver. We are now waiting for further results but it feels like forever. Just don’t know what to do. Very up and down emotionally as well as struggling with pain.
Hi and a very warm welcome to the online community which I hope you'll find is both an informative and supportive place to be.
I'm sorry to read that your partner has been unwell for a while and is undergoing tests, etc. I know what a difficult time it can be for the whole family right now.
As the online community is divided up into different support groups, can I recommend that you join the carers only group which is a safe and supportive place to discuss your worries and emotions.
To join just click on the link I've provided which will take you directly to the group. You can then join and start a new post in the same way as you did here and join in with exiting conversations by clicking on 'reply.
If it is confirmed that your partner has cancer you might also want to join a specific cancer group which would give you the opportunity of asking questions regarding treatment etc and sharing experiences with others who have this type of cancer. When you know what you're dealing with you can have a look through this list.
Sending a big (((hug)))
Whatever cancer throws your way, we’re right there with you.
We’re here to provide physical, financial and emotional support.
