Hi everyone. My Mum has today been diagnosed with probable lung cancer. I think it's definate she just has to have more tests on the fluid around her lung. She's had a ct and they showed us the results which looked pretty definite to me. Just trying to take one day at a time. Thank goodness for groups like this one :)
Hi Ragged56 and a very warm welcome to the online community which I hope you'll find is both an informative and supportive place to be.
I'm sorry to read that your mum is likely to be diagnosed with lung cancer and I know what a difficult time it can be for the whole family right now.
I can see that you've already joined and posted in the carers only group, which is a great place to get support, and you've already had a reply.
If it is confirmed that your mum has lung cancer you might also want to join the lung cancer group which would give you the opportunity of asking questions regarding treatment etc and sharing experiences with others who have this type of cancer.
Sending a big (((hug)))
Hi Latchbrook and thank you for your message. Sorry it has taken so long to reply, Mum has now been diagnosed with lung cancer so I will be joining the group.
