  • Hi

I'm sorry to read that you've had lots of health issues over the last two years and that you're also worried about your finances.

I don't have Waldenstrom's macroglobulinaemia but I've looked it up on this site and can see that it's a form of non-Hodgkin lymphoma.

As the online community is divided up into different support groups, I'm going to recommend that you join the non-Hodgkin lymphoma group which is a great place to ask questions, share experiences and get support.

To join just click on the link I've created which will take you straight to the group where you can then join and post in the same way as you did here. You can also join in with existing conversations by clicking on 'reply'.

I'm also 'tagging' my fellow community champion  as he looks after to lymphoma groups and I can see that he's replied to you before.

Macmillan has a welfare rights team that could check if you're receiving everything you're entitled to. They're no available through the online community but you can ring them free on 0808 808 0000 8am to 8pm Monday to Friday and 9am to 5pm on Saturday and Sunday.

It would be great if you could pop something about your diagnosis and treatment so far into your profile as it really helps others when replying to you and also when looking for someone on a similar pathway. It also means that you don't have to keep repeating yourself. To do this click on your username and then select 'Profile'. You can amend it at any time and if you're not sure what to write you can take a look at mine by clicking on my username.

This link will take you to a blog which explains how to get the best out of the online community but if you have any difficulty navigating the community just drop me a reply and I'll be pleased to help
