Hello I have been on this forum before. When my partner got throat Cancer and I turned to you. It was a great help I remember.
That was 4 years ago and he went into remission after extensive treatment, but he had already other health problems, and sadly died three months ago. I am at the stage of loneliness now.
I live in France and have no family either . A sister in Scotland and Barry's family in England. Not much in touch with anyone, and no one came to the funeral here. I have good support from friends here luckily though.
Just need to reach out here.
Hi Fifinet and welcome back to the Community but so sorry to hear about your partner. My sincere condolences.
The death of a loved one can be such a stressful and challenging but I do hope, like before you will find the community a safe place to get support and ask your questions.
Can I suggest you consider joining our supportive Bereaved spouses and partners group. This will be a safe place to talk to others who are on the same journey, to ask questions and get support.
((hugs))
