Hi I've joined as my friend has been diagnosed with Hodgkins Lymphoma and I'll be supporting him where I can. I want to make sure that I understand as much as I can so that I can lessen his load where possible and he can just concentrate on getting well.
Hi and a warm welcome to the Community although I am always sorry to see folks joining us. I am Mike and I help out around our various Lymphoma groups.
I don’t have Hodgkins Lymphoma but I was diagnosed way back in 1999 with a rare, incurable type of Non Hodgkin’s Lymphoma Stage 4a so although my Lymphoma ‘type’ is different I appreciate the challenges of this journey well.
We do have a dedicated Hodgkin lymphoma support group. This would be a safe place to talk to others who may have a similar diagnosis, treatment experience, to ask questions and talk with others who are supporting family and friends on their treatment pathway.
If you'd like to connect in with a group click on the Green (Bold) link I have created above. Then once the group page opens click on the black banner that says [click to join] at the bottom, or the [Join] button under "Group tools."
You can then introduce yourself by putting up a ‘new post’ by clicking in the box near the top right with + New or + (Depending on the device you are using) and you are ready to go. You could copy and paste the text from this post into your new post.
I will keep an eye open for you in the group.
Whatever cancer throws your way, we’re right there with you.
We’re here to provide physical, financial and emotional support.
