Hi everyone... I'm new to this so please bear with.. my husband is 52 and was diagnosed with Diffuse B Cell Lymphoma im march.. We thought he had IBS turns out after bloods and lots of scans that he has a mass in his spleen, groin , neck and stomach. He is having chemo. The last few months have been tough and feeling alot lost at the moment. We are a strong team together but are finding we need help and struggling to ask for it !! Is this wrong ? Our emotions are all over.
Apologies for the waffling it still doesn't feel right seeing it written down.
Hi and a warm welcome to the Community although I am always sorry to see folks joining us. I am Mike and I help out around our various Lymphoma groups.
I don’t have DLBCL but I was diagnosed back in 1999 with a rare, incurable type of NHL Stage 4a so although my Lymphoma ‘type’ is different I appreciate the challenges of this journey well.
Could I suggest that you put up a post in the Diffuse large B-cell lymphoma group as is a safe place to talk to others who may have a similar diagnosis, treatment experience, to ask questions and talk with others who are supporting family and friends on their treatment pathway.
I will keep an eye open for you n the group.
