Hi everyone, I am new here.
My wife.was.diagnosed with breast cancer in January this year.
She had her mastectomy in March. She has just had her 2nd round of chemo therapy.
She struggles the first 10 days of the cycle.
I am struggling with how I feel. I am missing my side kick, my bestie, my wife.
I feel the walls are turning to me, I cannot be around anyone because she has a very immumo depressed immunesystem with lots of other health issues.
I go for daily walks, alone.
We used to walk for 10km a couple times a week.
I am not enjoying my walks by myself.
I wish I had someone, a.friend or anybody. Living close to pop by sometimes for a coffee, a.chat or a laugh, away from the cancer.
I feel so lonely. Has anyone got any ideas.for me.to do?
I live in Northamptonshire
Thank you for your time xx
Hi BeesinGlasses welcome to the forum and I am so sorry to hear about what has been happening for you and also how you are feeling and I assure you that you will not be alone feeling like this. Its hard for the famlies as well as the people undergoing treatment.
Im wondering as you are asking about a specific area if you might like to give the MacMillan Line a call on 08088080000 and ask them if they know what local services may be available or if there are any groups that you could access in your local area.
